A BIT ABOUT THERAPY
I see the relationship with each client as essential to the work of therapy. Building trust, and seeking understanding with compassion is often the starting place for my work with clients. I view therapy as a journey of discovering how your previous life chapters, may be impacting your present experience, and the future chapters you are hoping to write. I believe that building insight around where you have been, can create opportunities for new ways of thinking, feeling, and interacting with yourself and with others. Further, I believe that a part of this process will include you identifying and building upon your personal values. In short, asking yourself the question: what really matters to me in life? As you build insight about your past, and make choices that honor your values, these practices can nurture fulfillment in life, and provide opportunities to choose freedom.
SERVICES I OFFER
Free 15 Minute Phone Consultation
I provide a free 15-minute consultation so you can get a sense of what therapy is like with me and ask any questions you may have. From there, we can decide if we are a good fit!
Individual Therapy & Family Therapy
Individual therapy sessions are approximately 45-50 minutes and occur on a weekly basis. Once you and I are more clear on the nature of our work together, we can navigate your session length and frequency.
Family sessions are often scheduled as 60, 75, or 90 minute sessions so that there is time to address all family members involved and take steps towards changes that meet the needs and treatment goals of the whole family.
Speaking & Consultation
It is both and honor and joy to work with companies, and community organizations in building healing relationships, mental health practices and resilience. I offer services speaking on preventing burnout, nurturing self care practices, building resilience, parenting, and building mentally healthy and relationally connected families.
